Would just like to announce that my little princess Zayah Louise was born on the 21st June at 11:09am after having 2 days of regular contractions but the 'established labour' was only 1 hour and 39 minutes.
She was 4010gms (little fatty). She is doing wonderfully and is a great baby. She does nothing but sleep, it's bliss so I'm enjoying it while it lasts!!

I can't believe I have only 3 weeks left tomorrow. 3 weeks!! Agh.. 3 weeks and I'll have a newborn wriggly crying baby girl who can't do anything for herself! Woah. I started freaking out a couple of weeks ago about labour, I'd pushed it to the back of my mind for so long and then all of a sudden, BANG. I remembered the pain. What have I done? Hehe. I was actually walking around the shopping centre today getting all these weird aches and pains which started to freak me out a little, but they stopped.. I have a midwives appointment tomorrow at the hospital tomorrow just to check she's head down still and ready to rock. I've been feeling like she may come a little early, don't know why but it's just a vibe I get. I hope it's not this weekend as Michael is going an hour and a half away for a bucks night and I haven't packed my hospital bag yet, or installed the carseat.. All things that should be done this weekend so anytime after Monday will suit me just fine. And now I shall leave you with a photo or two, taken last Friday, at 36 weeks..

Well things here are going well.. I'm 10weeks and 3 days now. Been a bit sick, but nowhere near what I was like with Seth, which I think may be because I don't have to catch a bus and train to and from work every morning like I did with him. We had an ultrasound a week and a half ago just to check dates and everything is fine. Although it does look like a jellybaby with stumps as arms and legs.

Ummm fish makes me sick. The smell and taste. I've been getting some pretty bad headaches but as my blood test revealed a couple days ago, I'm low on iron so I'm on iron tablets for that. I think this was the cause of the headaches cause I haven't had a headache since starting. I'm super duper tired, in bed sound asleep by 8 most nights. I had that disgusting metal taste in my mouth for a few days, but thankfully it passed..
Ok so there is a little update on the pregnancy..
Seth is doing well, talking heaps these days and has an attitude problem.. |

| Circus!! |
[Sep. 7th, 2008|09:26 pm] |
We took the Seth man to the circus last night.. Although it turned out not to be a circus with animals and stuff like we wanted but more a acrobatic circus. It was still ok.. Seth behaved through the whole thing and he loved the animals they did have (minature horses and performing dogs) Next time we will be checking out if there will be lions and things before booking the tickets!! We got a nice family photo out of it though, so thats ok.. Besides the scared look on Seth's face because the photographer freaked him out.. Haha.

| | content | ] | Oh LJ how I've missed you..
I'm on here every day.. Ok maybe every 2 days but for some reason I just don't ever have the time to update, which really is stupid cause I have plenty of time.. Meh, whatever, I'm here now!!
I do read everyone's updates, I'm pretty sure I don't miss much. I really have to take the time to update more, if not to keep in contact with everyone but for my own personal records so I can read back on stuff when I'm bored..
Ok so let me think, what's been happening..
Michael got his first tattoo a week and half ago, it was an early fathers day present. Seth written down the back of his arm. It's massive but I really like it. The bigness of it kinda bugged me at first (don't tell him that though) but now I think I've fallen in love with it. Can't wait till he has more. I love me a man with tattooos. He can't get his next one till I get my Seth one though, which hopefully if money permits will be in about a month.
Ummm Seth turned 3 last Saturday!! Yes my baby is not much of a baby anymore :-( We had a party with a jumping castle. He had a great day and night, until 1am when all the food and lollies and cake resurfaced all over me.. Poor little guy. I'll post photos when I put them on photobucket..
Going to see Slipknot in 2 months, so damn excited! Got pit tickets too. Hooray.
Hmmm now I can't think of anything else to say, but I will be back. More often ;-) |

Just another pointless update on my life, but this time with some photos attached. If you're on my myspace or facebook, chances are you may have seen them anyway but I want to put them here as well.. I like my little livejournal. Just have to remember to update it more often. So it's kinda bizarre to have a life. I'm so used to doing the exact same thing (nothing) week in week out that it's strange to have plans most weekends. The weekend just gone was Bethany's birthday. We all went out to Trash (alternative night club in Sydney), I had a good night, and didn't spend a cent.. Job well done I believe. But I wasn't feeling all that crash hot the following morning when I had to get up early, catch a train home and then go to a 2nd birthday at the Regatta Centre in Penrith.. I'd never been there before so I wasn't sure what to expect but it was quite nice.. We just sat near the big bike track and watched Seth ride up and down on his bike.. It would be a great place to take Rocky for a walk, with Seth on his bike.. Its a shame the weather is getting colder and colder. Tonight is State Of Origin.. GO THE BLUES ;-) State of Origin always reminds me of the night Michael and I first hooked up.. If it wasn't for the football I wouldn't have stayed at his house, in his bed (I was a good girl though, didn't do anything naughty!). But I think it was the second game, not the first. or maybe even the third.. Hmmm I can't remember. Either way, It's a sign that its been 5 years since we first went from friends to something else. Although it took about 8 or 9 months to turn into anything serious. Ok what else??? Uhh Michael is going to QLD on Friday to see his family. I'm pissed off about it, but not pissed off about it, if that makes sense.. I couldn't care less that Michael is going but at the same time I'm worried about what garbage his family are going to fill his head with. They have one son who has left their partner who they were never fond of, so why the hell not try to convince Michael to leave me, who they are also not fond of. His family are just so twisted and bizarre that nothing would surprise me with them. And the main thing that has pissed me off is Seth. What kind of grandmother doesn't invite their grandson along when they only get to see him about twice a year. There is no way in hell my mother, or father would ever invite me somewhere and not want Seth to come. Or even for Michael to not be invited. Grrr bloody in-laws!!!

I rang Southport Magistrates Court House today to find out what Michael got for his Public Nuisance & Obstruct a Police Officer charge.. He got a $500 fine. Which does suck but we were expecting higher than that because all the other boys got $500 fines and they only had the Public Nuisance charge not the Obstruct one so we assumed Michael would have got at least double the fine. Michael just has to call up tomorrow to see if we can set up a payment plan. Hopefully they'll accept $10 a week cause we can't afford much more! |

Seth's hearing test went well. Nothing wrong with it. Some opening to his ears aren't opening as much as they should be but that happens when you are sick with a runny nose or cough or something so thats just because of the bronchitis. Now it's just up to the speech therapy to do something. |

[Mar. 11th, 2008|09:15 pm] |
So we had our appointment with the paed on Friday. He says that Seth has Isolated Speech Delay, so basically its not linked to anything else, mentally or otherwise. He said it's not something to be overly worried about because he is picking up a lot of new words lately and he is still young. I have to take him for a hearing test (which is booked in for tomorrow at 2:30pm) to rule that out & he needs speech therapy. He also has Bronchitis. Night time is terrible, he coughs constantly and screams everytime he coughs. He is on a expectorant cough medicine during the day to try to clear some phglem in his throat & Benadryl Dry for night to suppress the cough and help him sleep. It has been a rough couple of nights, and due to the fact that bronchitis is one of them things that sticks around for ages I guess I'm up for a rough couple of weeks. Yay for me! |

| Warning... HEAPS AND HEAPS OF PHOTOS BEHIND CUT! |
[Mar. 7th, 2008|08:38 pm] |
So I guess its time I did a post about my holiday.. Well what a trip.
Michael, Seth and I left home at about 2am Wednesday morning. I snuggled down with my big feather doona and slept until just before Kew, I was actually surprised how comfortable I was in the front seat. If it wasn't for the sun rising I would have slept for so much longer. The drive was pretty good, Seth slept the majority of the way which was great. We got to the hotel (Mantra Sun City in Surfers Paradise) around 1:30pm but our room wasn't ready so we just hung down stairs drinking and stuff until it was ready for us. Awhile after that everyone turned up so Seth had some little friends to play with. We had a fantastic view from our balcony although looking down made everyone feel a bit quesy. That night was the Bucks and Hens night. callmecandi and I stayed in the room with the rugrats so the boys could go out with Dean.. We drank and had some interesting conversations before Ben wandered in rather early (around midnight). I asked where Michael was and apparenlty he was still out with the rest of the boys. Michael had left his phone at home and I noticed there was a missed call on there from James asking where Michael was so I made Ben call him to see if they had found Michael. As he rang, there was a fight breaking out and for the next 45 minutes or so we had scattered information from 3 or 4 different people letting us know that Dean, the buck had been beaten up by the bouncers at a night club & that he was in bad shape. I was in the shower when an ambulance flew past. I was freaking, not knowing what was going on or where Michael was. Eventually we were told that the ambulance was for Dean and that Michael and a few other blokes had been arrested. We all went to bed, I have no idea what time it was by this point and I laid in bed, barely sleeping at all just waiting for the hotel room door to open. Michael got in at about 5am. He had been charged with being a public nuisance & obstructing a police officer. The only thing is, he doesn't remember touching anyone. All he did was grab someones arm who was going for the buck, he was then thrown to the ground, choked, kicked in the head and had his head slammed into the concrete multiple times. His back was covered in scratches and his head covered in lumps.. Good start to our holiday.. haha. Thursday we went and stayed at Michael's parents house and when we left in the morning we left Seth and Mitch with their nanny and pop for the next 2 days. It was great ;) Friday night was a BBQ down by the pool and Poker night in our room. I made the silly mistake of drinking almost a litre of Jack Daniels, oops. I woke up on Saturday around midday with the BIGGEST hangover of my life. I couldn;'t move, let alone straighten my hair, paint my nails and get ready to be in the lobby by 2:30pm for the bus to wedding. I managed to do it, with not much time to spare. On the bus on the way to the ceremony I felt like I was going to pass out, or worse, be sick on the bus. I managed to control myself till we got there but that didn't last long, I was sick (very classy in my dress!) but then after that felt soooo much better. The ceremony was held in this gorgeous little chapel, emphasis on the little. The reception was great, very classy and well organised. Liz did such a good job with it all. I spent the majority of the night sitting cause I didn't feel the best & didn't start drinking till I'd had dinner. In my hung over state I forgot to get a photo of Michael and I together all dressed up. I'm a dick. On Sunday Michael's parents bought the kids back and we hung around down stairs having some drinks and lunch. Seth was very good for his Nanny & Pop. He didn't much up or cry once. It was a different story when he got back to us though. Within 5 minutes he was screaming. Little shite. Monday was our 4 year anniversary so we decided to stay somewhere halfway between QLD and home so we booked a place at Port Macquarie. When we got there though it was the biggest dive of a place, I almost burst into tears cause of how disgusting it was, so we went for a drive and found a tourist park to stay in instead and for $20 more we got a 2 bedroom spa cabin on the water. It was such a nice spot. I think we might go there again next year for our anniversary.. We drove home on Tuesday and now we're back in this shithole of a house in this shithole of a town. Yay for us. Thats it for my little update for now... |

[Dec. 16th, 2007|04:40 pm] |
So yeah, interesting weekend. On Friday night Seth and I had settled on the lounge to watch a movie and for Seth to fall asleep. He was laying on my lap & at about 9pm he chucked.. EVERYWHERE. Straight in my lap. It was awesome. I gave him (and me) a shower and grabbed the bucket and laid back on the lounge with him. He would sleep for about 20 minutes and then throw up again. Eventually there was nothing left for him to chuck so it was just bile (mmmm yummy). So we made the decision to take him to hospital at around 1:30am because there didn't seem to be an end in sight. Got to the emergency ward, saw the triage nurse and all that fun stuff and sat in the waiting room. Seth was all perky and we were thinking, oh joy, we came here and now he's fine! But about 20 minutes later he started again. They bought him out a hydralite ice block and right on cue he chucked so they put him in a bed. He then was keeping everything down for about the next 3-4 hours so we thought hoorah time to go home soon. Seth had other ideas. He threw up again so the doctors decided it was drip time. HOLY BAJEESUS!!! He screamed like we were slowly ripping his toenails off or something. It was horrible. And the stupid doctor couldn't get enough blood so they pricked him 3 times and then decided to get the paed to come down and do it so he was attached to a drip. She came, more screaming and then they told us they would need to transfer us to Mount Druitt Hospital cause there is a kids ward there. Not too long later the ambulance came and Seth was spinning out. He had no idea what was going on! At the hospital things were going well, no more vomit so yet again we thought we'd be able to go home because they had said no vomit by 5 then we can go. They had decided that it was more than likely gastro but without the pooing side of it. 5 came around and still no vomit but then we realised he wouldnt drink or eat soooooooo we had to stay overnight. Thankfully because he was vomiting and contagious we got a private room with 2 beds so I had a bed all to myself which was at least one bright side to the whole thing! He woke up last night around 1am because he'd thrown up on his pillow. He slept for 12 hours though which was nice. In the morning he ate a few bites of toast and was drinking a fair bit of his drink. Around 10 he did a massive poo which basically confirmed the gastro diagnosis and the doctor came in and told us we could go home. So yay we are home! And Seth doesn't seem one bit sick. He is all bright and perky. Even when he was throwing up everywhere he was fine. Oh and the other weird part was that he didn't/doesn't have a temp, at all.

Hi, Point form entry cause I'm too lazy to form sentences * Michael has a cyst on his neck. Can't touch it or be around loud noises in case he jolts his neck and infection goes to his head, it's great. * If infection does spread he will need an operation. * Yay * Birthday was good. Thanks to everyone who came (photos at end of post) * Seth has been having poo problems (yes I know you all wanted to know that) and it's really really horrible hearing him scream in agony. * I got my hair dyed and cut for my birthday. It's a lot shorter and has a fair bit of blonde in it. Very different (photos at end) * Homebake this weekend! Hoorah. * I've cancelled Christmas. Ha I wish. * callmecandi please don't get Seth anything for Christmas cause we can't afford the boys anything. Money is gay * Found a car we could have bought for me, a friends selling his Suzuki Swift. He has $3,000 on it but said he would give it to us for $2,000. Can't get the money though so yet again. Money is gay * Michael is going to apply for a job in the mines with my step dad. Its great money. Except he doesn't want to work underground so he'll be applying to drive the big machiney things. * Thats all I can think for now.

This gym business makes me sleepy... I put in my orders for chrisco for next year.. I've never done it before but I really like the idea of it. Although I was told that all the frozen stuff, including meat is defrosted and refrozen over and over again so I didn't get any of that stuff. Just some 2 hampers with pastas, pasta sauces, recipe bases and them kind of things, I got a home cleaning one full of cleaning stuff (obviously) and 3 alcohol hampers.. Cocktails, JD & Beers of the World. Thats all. I'm tired, not body tired but head tired. I don't know how that works seen as it's my body doing all the physical stuff lately. Blah. |

Today, one of my best friends mums passed away. We lived next door to each other for 12 years. She was like a second mother to me for most of my life. Her house was my second home. Although I knew this was coming, nothing prepares you for the moment they are gone.
Funeral on Friday. Oh joy. |
